![]() Overall, this pack of tables is really cool and would be highly recommended to anyone that is a fan of the Bethesda games. Otherwise, again, they really conveyed the look and feel of the Skyrim world through the set pieces on the table and the various missions and objectives that are given to you as you go. There is a dragon that will dive bomb the table and set fire to it, and I don’t know if I was triggering it or if it just occurs too often, but I felt like there was always this firestorm going on across the surface of the table that became rather distracting. The Skyrim table was cool, but I think maybe my least favorite of the three in this pack, at least initially, because it was the most confusing. Like with the Fallout table, I really felt that the feel of the game’s atmosphere was really well captured in the table, with lighting and sound effects changing as you progress. There is a cylindrical area that if you hit your ball into it, you can control the rotation of the three bumpers and try to juggle the ball to keep it in the chamber longer, racking up a higher score. One of the things I liked was that there were parts of the table that were new and different from stuff that I’ve seen on others. The Doom table has some really fun elements as well. I was really impressed with the table and the way the lighting and atmosphere changes as you progress, really harkening back to the feelings that you get from the game. If one is available, it will activate that mission and give you a different set of objectives to accomplish for bonus points. As you complete tasks on the table, you will be asked which faction in the game (Minutemen, Brotherhood, Railroad, etc.) you’d like to do a mission for. You assign points to the various different attributes for your character, which all apply different modifiers to the rules on the table. The Fallout table starts you off by doing character creation much in the same way as you do in the Fallout games. I would say that if you are a fan of Bethesda games, I would highly recommend this pack of tables to add to your collection. The game-play is smooth and super-intuitive. The physics are perfect and the graphics lavish, taking advantage of the iPad’s big HD-capable screen. What I really appreciated about these was that these tables weren’t just regular old pinball tables with themed skins, but that they did a really great job of incorporating many of the elements from each of the games into the play of the tables, including character creation, several unique missions that follow the theme of each game, characters, music, sound effects, and a whole host of other little nods and winks for people who are fans of these games. I don’t care of you’re seventeen or seventy: until the iPad Holo is available, there is little that could be better about this game. The three tables are Fallout, Doom, and Skyrim themed. I got to play these new Bethesda tables today and was incredibly impressed with each of them. Zen Studios continues to build up their library of Pinball FX3 tables for Nintendo Switch with another three-pack this one based on several legendary Bethesda game properties.
